Do you require my Device?
   
No. We don’t require the device, but the IMEI of your handset so that we can stop piracy of the application. This is a software solution, and the software will be delivered to you after you purchase.
   
   
What is IMEI and why is it required?
   
The IMEI of the device is a 16 digit identifier which can be obtained by pressing *#06# on your phone’s keypad. This IMEI number does NOT reveal your identity, location, phone number or any other personal information. It is a device identifier which enables us to ensure that the software only runs on the intended handsets.
   
   

How can I change the encryption keys?

   

Simply open the application, click Options > Configure and enter the key.  Please note that the key that you enter here is the Initializing Vector for all encrypted Voice Calls and SMS sent from the application.  This is not the password that you need to access the application.

   
  You don't need to send the phone back to us or contact us when you wish to change the keys. 
   
   
How can I change the password to access the application?
   

On the main screen, Click Options > Change Password. It will prompt you for the old and new password.  Please note that this password is only used to access the application and does not reflect on your Initializing Vector for Encrypted Voice and SMS communications.

   
   
How do I make an encrypted Voice Call?
   

Open the application; enter the access code, which will lead to the main screen. This main screen will have a input box where you can enter the number, or scroll to the list of old dialed contacts and click Options > Calls to initiate the encrypted Voice call.

   
   

How can I send an encrypted SMS?

   

Open the application, enter the access code, which will lead to the  main screen. On top of the screen you will see two options, Calls and SMS, Press the right joystick key to view the SMS Screen. You can then enter the recipient name or insert multiple contacts from the phone book and send the SMS.

   
   

Will encrypted SMS work when I am in roaming?

   

Yes, encrypted SMS will continue to work even when you are in roaming/out of your home network.

   
   

Will encrypted Voice calls work when I am in roaming?

   

Voice calls (encrypted) will only work in roaming if you have a CSD/HSCSD support on the roaming network.

   
   

Can I remove all secure call logs?

   
Yes, click Options > Clear List which will remove all secure call logs.
   
   

Can I see secure call logs in the normal Logs of the phone?

   

No. Incoming and outgoing call logs are not available in the normal Log of the phone.

   
   
How can I be sure that the calls are encrypted?
   
Simply enter incorrect keys on both handsets and place a call. The application will not connected incorrect keys originating calls.
   
   
How can I be sure that SMS are encrypted?
   
Simply send an encrypted SMS to a normal phone. You will see that it appears as garbage thus ensuring that it is encrypted.
   
   
How can I be sure that my encrypted calls are safe?
   
The calls are AES 256 bit encrypted. You are only as safe as your key so don't give your keys to anyone and ensure that you have a full length key (32 numbers and special characters). The longer your key the safer, it is also recommended that you have special characters in your key so that any brute force algorithm of deciphering applications cannot crack your calls.
   
   
How do I know that your application does not backdoors?
   
If you Law Enforcement, we will open the complete code for you. However, for end users, we don’t open up our code, but can assure you that there is no reason for us to have backdoors and monitor individual calls.
   
   
What are the minimum requirements of Secure Call and SMS software to work?
   
You require a compatible handset click here and CSD/HSCSD activated on both the SIM cards.
